IF YOU ARE PICKING UP THE PILE ON THE FIRST MELD, CLICK TOP CARD OF PILE AND MELD. STOP!!! IF THERE IS NO CANASTA ON THE BOARD YOU HAVE DQ/ED. YOU CAN NOT LAY WILDS ON IT OR USE CARDS IN THE PICKED UP PILE!! Once the first canasta has been made regular play resumes. If you already have a canasta you may pick up the pile at any time. Should you meld without including a canasta you will be DQ'ed automatically. YOU CAN PICK UP THE PILE.
