Updated: May 1, 2024 Red Hat Society The Red Hat Society (RHS) is an international social organization that was founded in 1998 in the United States for women age 50 and beyond, but now open to women of all ages. Hat Society is our own womens movement, of sorts placing a strong emphasis on the positive aspects of life. We stress the importance of friendship and sisterhood, and the value of recess (play) into our busy lives. Always trailblazers, we help reshape the way modern women are viewed and valued in todays culture. Today, hatters are commonly seen frolicking and embracing life to the fullest wearing the now famous symbol a red or pink hat and purple and lavender regalia. EXPLANATION OF THIS EVENT RHS is friendship and sisterhood, and the value of recess (play) we are going to celebrate them this entire month!! Our RHS deserve to be appreciated all the year through, and to give them recognition this year, we are going to collect red and pink hats throughout the month of May. There are a total of two-dozen hats to collect. RHS tournaments will be hosted ANY FORMAT for the month of May. Each tournament hosted for this event will be labeled RHS #1, RHS #2, etc. You have to win each HAT once to officially collect the HATS! You have to win each rose once to officially collect the rose! How you win a hat is to get all 4 red 3's in the game label RHS# call the td to verify you have them In order to win a rose is to have red canastas in the game marked RHS# Collect them all!!!. The player with the most HATS at end of May will win this event. TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN ANY EVENT IN KE LEAGUE, YOU MUST BE PLAYING ANY AND ALL EVENTS IN THE GIVEN MONTH. THIS INCLUDES DOUBLES, MONTHLY, WEEKLY, AND MEMBER CHOICE EVENTS IF AVAILABLE. IF YOU WANT TO WIN AN EVENT, YOU NEED TO PLAY ALL THE EVENTS.
